Greetings.

This is the writing journal of shantari, AKA Rebecka.

The Rules

1. The stories posted here are mine. Don't steal. It's just common courteousy, seeing as I write for free.
2. Unless otherwise specified, these are fanfics. In certain fandoms, it might be mentionable that the fics won't be exactly following canon word by word. I do generally pride myself at keeping the characters IC. (Unless otherwise specified.)

The Fandoms

To please the curious, these are the fandoms I am sufficiently engaged into write fics in:

- Harry Potter.
- Dragonball.
- Chronicles of Narnia.
- Lord of the Rings.
- Legend of Zelda. (Specifically Ocarina of Time-universe.)
- Sailor Moon.
- The Simpsons.
- Star Wars.
- Tokyo Mew Mew.

Please note that "am sufficiently engaged into write fics in" does not equal "have written fics in".

Also, for the purpose of clarification and fun, here are all ships I either support, tolerate or despise.

First, explanations:
OTP: The ships that are unsurpassed in each fandom when it comes to my devotion for them. In some fandoms there may be secondary OTP's.
Cute ships: Ships that are not OTP's, but greatly liked nonetheless.
Crack ships: Ships I ship completely for the crack. However, a ship won't make it there if I don't see some reason to ship it. So though some may seem random, there's something there that can be seen.
No ships: Ships I don't ship, and which can in some cases leave me nauseated, when seeing fanart of it. (Other times it leaves me in fits of laughter.)
Explanatory notes(EN): I'll leave this at some ships, as I feel it necessary or entertaining.

OTP's:

Ron/Luna (Harry Potter) EN: This is one of, if not the biggest OTP for me. Sadly not much love for it. Hopefully the OotP the movie will change some of that. (And if not, at least I'll get some manippy-goodness.)
Harry/Hermione (Harry Potter) EN: Secondary OTP. And the first ship I ever saw in the books. However it became outshined by Ron/Luna after OotP.
Ryou/Ichigo (Tokyo Mew Mew)
Usopp/Kaya (One Piece) EN: This ship has made Usopp the only crewmember I don't multiship. I simply can't ship him with anyone but Kaya, it just doesn't compute in my brain.
Homer/Marge (The Simpsons) EN: Though I tend to ship Homer with Ned as well, since their gay love is so canon, it can't outshine the love and friendship that is Homer/Marge. No ship in The Simpsons touches me as deeply as H/M. In the words of Homer, on being married to Marge: "It's like being married to my best friend, and he lets me touch her ass."
Ned/Homer (The Simpsons) EN: Slash OTP.

Cute ships:

Neville/Ginny (Harry Potter) EN: Nothing can surprise me further than people who doesn't like N/G. It feels like the one ship in HP-fandom we should all come together and bask in the fluffiness of.
Purin/Tart (Tokyo Mew Mew)
Masaya/Mint (Tokyo Mew Mew)

Crack ships:

Mojo-Jojo/Bubbles (PowerPuffGirls) EN: Yeah, you stare at me like I'm from the darker side of Betelgeuse. But if there's anything I've noticed in the show, it's that there's something pulling these two close, and Bubbles seem to actually like him. (Or it could just be that the producers liked to contrast the cute Bubbles with the not-so-cute Mojo-Jojo. But I don't care!)
Mr. Burns/Lisa (The Simpsons) EN: Burns could very well see Lisa as someone to mold into a useful asset. Creepy old guy, that happens to be stereotypically evil + cute, brilliant girl that have everything going for her = disturbing angsty unrequited obsession, or Lisa-turned-evil-angst. (After her imitation of Mr. Burns's "Excellent!", I really wouldn't put it past her.)
Tom Riddle(Voldemort)/Ginny (Harry Potter) EN: I think it's established now that I have a thing for creepy villains and cute little girls. With T/G it's even better, because after having seen where her character is going in the books, Tom just seems more suitable for her. (Though I still want the old version of her together with Neville.)

No ships:

Ron/Hermione (Harry Potter) EN: I happen to like both Ron and Hermione, and would love for them to have sweet, compassionate and mutual love. SO I can't ship them with each other. Other ships I don't like in HP, I could write(see Harry/Ginny), but not R/Hr. I just don't think I could write it without making it into a parody.
Harry/Ginny (Harry Potter) EN: I can tolerate H/G if it's written well. (Which is why I held huge dislike for it in HBP.)
Masaya/Ichigo (Tokyo Mew Mew) EN: Don't like it, but don't hate it either.



Hopefully this key will be helpful in deciding if you're going to be allergic to my fics on shipping preferences alone, *looks pointedly at HP-fandom*, or if you're going to be able to get your opinion on them from their quality.
